Prime: Vanessa McCallum is an engineer, business woman and now a published author. Her book University Wisdom hitting the shelves late last year. The Victorian based writer returned to her parents home town to launch it.
Vanessa: It's taken me three years to write. I'm certainly not a natural writer but I've really enjoyed writing this book and I hope that it will help a lot of students.
Prime: Vanessa spent five years at university. During that time she tutored High School students who were enquisitive about life post year 12. University Wisdom was born out of their questions.
Vanessa: It's not so much a question answering book, it's rather a question asking book. It asks the reader what is in their life that they want to achieve?
Prime: The book provides practical advice on scary topics such as exams, finances and managing stress, handy not only for High School graduates but mature aged students and parents. The book has recieved rave reviews from all over the world. This year it will be exhibited in book fairs in Europe, America and Asia, released just in time for Australian students who will head back to the classroom in force next month.
